This painting was created as part of the Brand New Day collection, celebrating resilience and hope despite the failures, disappointments and challenges we face in ourselves and in the world around us.

I often write on the back of the canvas while I’m painting as thoughts or phrases come to me while I’m painting. This one says, “There’s a storm, but you’re not going under.”

I have tried my best to most accurately represent the true colors of each painting, but given the nature of different screens and how colors are represented and interpreted, please note that there may be slight differences in colors in person.
